We aim to create a positive, stimulating learning environment in which everyone feels valued and respected. Through challenge and support our children will develop their skills and talents attaining high standards to
become confident individuals for the 21st Century.

• At Hazel Wood Infant school we believe everyone has the right to feel safe and secure so that they have a high feeling of self worth. It is our responsibility to recognise individual needs and nurture each other so
that we can all aspire to meet our dreams.

• We believe that children have the right to a warm, welcoming, inspirational environment that everyone shares the responsibility for creating.

• Everyone in our school community has the right to have equal opportunities to develop as individuals through our inclusive curriculum. All members of the school community have the responsibility to continually promote and celebrate this.

• All of our children have the right to learn new skills that will enable them to become well balanced members of society. We have a responsibility to provide a creative curriculum which is accessible to all and challenges
each individual.

• Hazel Wood Infant School has the right to be an important part of our community, and, as such, we are responsible for actively promoting links with others to create a cohesive society.
